Richard at the Chevron Gas Station

This is Richard, putting in a day's work at the gas station at 13th and Grand in Grover Beach.  Business looked slow.  He politely asked to wash the windows of my car and it seemed like a request from another decade...And a reminder of how pleasant it is to live in a small-ish city where, every day, quaint moments like this can still take place.  Richard seemed quite surprised that I asked to take his photo.  It's just my way of saying "thank you" to him for doing his part to keep the small town atmosphere alive.
